Playing Experience: Jackson is an 11 year MLB Veteran! Having last played with the Washington Nationals in 2006. Jackson is a career .243 hitter in the Majors. Jackson was the starting shortstop for the San Diego Padres in 2000 and 2001. Jackson was also on the Boston Red Sox team that eventually lost to the NY Yankees in the NLCS in 2003. In 2008 Jackson played for Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League.
