Troy Cate to the Brewers!

Left Handed Pitcher Troy Cate was signed after pitching in just 3 games with the Flyers. Cate started 2 games while also comming out of the bullpen in one game. Cate posted an ERA of just 1.15 while pitching in 15.2 innings while allowing 5 hits and just 1 walk with 15 strikeouts.

Cate is the 2nd player in 2008 that the OC Flyers have sold to a major league organization and the 4th overall in the last 8 months.

Cate will be assigned to the Nashville Sounds (AAA) team for the Brewers. He has already reported to the Sounds.
