Game Recap for 05/28/2008 7:05 PM

The Orange County Flyers stayed perfect Wednesday night by defeating the previously undefeated Yuma Scorpions 12-3 at Desert Sun Stadium.

The Flyers got another strong start from Andre Simpson (2-0) and a save from Eric Sheridan who pitched 2.1 scoreless innings of relief. 

The offense was keyed by two long rallies in the 7th and 9th innings.  David Bacani contributed 4 hits and Patrick Breen drove in three runs.  Brian Rios tagged his first homerun of the season.

The first place Flyers (4-0) will look to stay on top behind Matthew Merrics tomorrow night in El Centro against the Yuma Scorpions (4-1).  All the action can be heard and followed live on orangecountyflyers.com.
