FRED WILLARD radiates a unique charm that has established him as one of our generation’s most gifted comic actors. A master of sketch comedy, Fred is most heralded for his quick wit and improvisational expertise which he has exemplified in over 100 appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Fred isan alumnus of Second City and was a founding member of the classic improvgroup, the Ace Trucking Company. He and Martin Mull co-starred in Norman Lear’sinnovative cult classic, late night talk show, Fernwood 2Night. Fred’s work in Waiting For Guffman earned him an American Comedy Award nomination for Funniest Supporting Actor. He won the Boston Film Critics Award, the American Comedy Award, The Sierra Award and a tribute from AFI for his performance in Best in Show. Some of his other film work includes; This Is Spinal Tap, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, A Mighty Wind, and the Academy Award winning short film, Ray’sMale Heterosexual Dance Hall. Fred has three Emmy nominationsfor his performance as Amy’s dad on EverybodyLoves Raymond. Fred recently co-starred with Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton in the new FOX comedy Back to You. Currently Fred is starring in the PIXAR animated film, WALL-E.
