Andrew Kuykendall, Season Ticket Holder since 2007
Why am I a Flyers Season Ticket Holder? After holding season seats for over 10 years at major league franchises I am amazed at the closeness of the ballpark. Close to the action – my seats, all 6 for the entire season – cost less than a weekend series at Dodger Stadium. Closeness to the players – we recognize them in the community and they interact on a nightly basis. Closeness to the owners – it is amazing to see the owners and officers actively seeking opinions on how to improve the fan experience. Closeness to the fans – it is truly a family atmosphere. Everything from bounce houses to bat races, and the Caboosters are extraordinary. And most of all – closeness of the game. The players are trying harder, the fans are cheering more fervently and every at bat matters. The pride in seeing a former Flyer on a 40 man roster more than relieves the sting of losing a star player. I have attended over 1,000 Major league Baseball games in my lifetime. My money is spent with the Flyers, and I cannot wait for next season.
Jacquelyn McLean, 2009 Group Night Experience
As a member our of church Family Ministries team, I was instrumental in arranging a church event going as a group to see an Orange County Flyers game. What a fabulous time it was. Starting with the group tickets sales - you couldn’t ask for more helpful, friendly, accommodating people. They were quick in getting the tickets to us to sell and the seating selection they gave our group was fantastic …there just wasn’t a bad seat and it was great being so close to the action. The ticket prices were so reasonably priced, that our church families gobbled up all the tickets rather quickly. The Flyers organization was even accommodating in allowing one of our member’s men's quartet to sing the opening National Anthem that night.
Many in our group had never been to a Flyers game and the feedback I received was mostly about how exciting the game was and how nice it was to have such a “kid friendly“ venue for the families. The younger kids loved seeing Coal Train and being able to be in the bounce house and participating down on the field. Having such a family friendly place to go to as a church group was a real blessing. Thank you Orange County Flyers for a great group experience!
